Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties
Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and VCA Cornerstone PMS
Exceptional client service skills
Empathetic, nurturing and positive attitude
Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change and adaptable
Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
Attention to detail with above average time management skills
Must be flexible and available to work shift work (weekdays, weekends and holidays).
Hours vary between start time of 6pm and 8pm and run to 10 - 12 hours
Previous veterinary experience or graduate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred

Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is welcoming a full time Overnight Veterinary Reception. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.

About the Role
The role of the Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. Your role is vital to the success of our hospital! You are the first and last point of contact and have the ability to leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients. Your responsibility is to enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated.
