  Packaging

  1st Shift

  Pay Range: $24.76/hr - $25.73/hr

  Hours: 5:40am – 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

  Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all products for packaging (cutting/ peeling)
  • Prep all equipment for production
  • Report any defective product to line leaders
  • Report any defective machinery to line leaders and maintenance
  • Wipe Condensation as needed
  • Know and follow all Johnsonville safety protocols.
  • Utilize Redzone to perform business needs.
  • Actively Participate in equipment owner activities and other operator reliability tasks.

  Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong math skills are required
  • Must be able to complete production, food safety and quality documentation paperwork accurately
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs
  • Must be able to actively participate in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills needed.
  • Ability to Demonstrate Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Willing to work in a refrigerated environment (less than 40 degrees)
  • Must have the ability to maintain a cooperative and positive attitude on the job

  Other:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
