Job Description

- Dealing with day-to-day queries from nominated suppliers & external factories, as well as internal teams.
- Maintaining communication with the Senior Technologist responsible for product presentation handbooks to ensure information remains accurate.
- Liaising with design/PD on new development to ensure accurate, timely and cost effective development of new branding.
- Managing item forecasting and delivery of the items to the required items to the correct location to facilitate bulk production.
- Managing and delivering branding integrity and brand protection objectives within all items of labelling and packaging.
- Managing and collating audit & certification data and collaborating on corrective action planning.
- Ensuring timely implementation of required changes to maintain brand compliance with incoming EPR schemes across our distribution routes.
- Thorough working knowledge of the end to end design, product development, production and retail processes and lead-times.
- A sound working knowledge of the key routes of packaging supply, main audit bodies & sustainability tools available within our sector.
- The ability to interpret legislative policies and propose viable solutions.
- A proven track record in the integration of the best sustainability practices into a Brand’s sourcing and buying model.
- A good understanding of our Brand and the brand product across all categories.
- A sound working knowledge of the key routes of packaging supply, main audit bodies & sustainability tools available within our sector.

- An eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Understanding of packaging and labelling lead times and challenges, seeking to continually improve the efficiency of the packaging and labelling function to support the brand.

Triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded his brand in 1952. He was the son of a cotton spinner, who played and fought his way through, always with style – and despite the establishment. Today, Fred Perry is a global community of over 370 employees, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it represents
PURPOSE:
This is a varied and exciting role working within our Brand Quality & Sustainability Function. This role will focus on the development & management of branded items for the product range, with product compliance and sustainability at the core.
This role would suit a Technologist with experience of the end to end product development cycle and production processes, who is passionate about Sustainability & CSR and wishes to broaden their role.

We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.
As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
