      Job Purpose:

      Our Packaging Designer is responsible for executing packaging design-related projects to support the company's strategic business goals. The Designer will be expected to bring creativity, innovation and ownership to projects as they will collaborate with their functional partners to work through projects from concept to completion.

      Job Responsibilities:

      Take ownership of assigned design projects, from ideation to execution, ranging from packaging designs, digital assets, illustration, and everything in between.
      Work with clients to understand their needs and provides design related solutions.
      Evaluate consumer and market trends for design concepts and packaging materials, stay current with software and technology developments to ensure work reflects design trends.
      Collaborate with functional and cross-functional partners/teams to ensure project success.
      Present designs to internal groups, clients and stakeholders using sketches, samples, and/or design software.
      Design quality solutions that align to strategy, that are on time and within budget.
      Work with team members and project managers to prioritize projects and workload.

      Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

      • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.

      • Adobe Creative Suite and Solidworks experience.

      • Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.

      • Familiarity with various packaging materials.

      • Proactive and detail oriented.

      • Ability to build trust with the team and partners.

      • Fundamental understanding of:

      - design principles.

      - retail & e-commence design.

      - packaging design.

      - retail display and fixture design.

      • Basic understanding of packaging qualification standards (ISTA, ASTM).

      Work Experience:

      ● 3-5 years of related job experience.

      ● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

      ● Ability to work in a team environment.

      ● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

      ● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

      ● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.

      ● Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.

      ● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.

      ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

      ● Software program experience with SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, TOPS and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Pro).

      ● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

      ● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

      ● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

      Education:

      ● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
