- Research and facilitate improvements to operations and material groups by providing data and tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement new or improved error-proofing methods and technology.
- Collect and compare time study data and systematic data to ensure accurate benchmarking for metrics and charting standards.
- Support Operations from an Engineering standpoint to solve and correct issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and support packaging and continuous improvement initiatives, including packaging studies, development of packaging standards, and enhancements to existing packaging.
- Provide weekly Packaging Inventory updates and recommendations based on usage.
- Review and update Packaging Instructions in in-house systems and SAP.
- Coordinate, monitor, and analyze material flow based on schedules.
- Degree in Engineering or related fields (experience may be considered in lieu of education).
- Background in Logistics, Engineering, or Packaging with strong customer service skills, relationship-building abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in documentation of processes, process changes, and gathering project-specific requirements.
- Fluent English & Slovak language skills.
- Understanding of Supply Chain concepts and Automotive Logistics.
- Understanding of logistics processes and production workflow.
- Knowledge of relevant procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AOS / SAP systems.
- Preferred qualification in Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) analysis.
- Knowledge of Lean tools and concepts (VSM, CI, Kaizen, 6 Sigma).
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
