- Ensure adherence to established safety standards and proactively communicating and addressing issues for the plant supporting a zero-accident culture.
- Assemble cartons, apply and pack cases according to case specifications.
- Label boxes with correct labels and dates.
- Stack completed product onto pallets in proper configurations.
- Inspect the quality of product, packaging and finished boxes alerting the machine operator or supervisor of any issues.
- Check packages of product for proper weight, code and label information.
- Address quality or production issues as directed.
- Work proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
- Complete in-process quality checks and data entry related to production and equipment
- Proactively identify, communicate, and where applicable, address safety and equipment-related issues.
- Assist with daily sanitation as required to maintain clean areas and equipment including removing trash and running compactor.
- Communicate when production supplies and support are needed to maximize efficiency.
- Cover for other packers and Co-workers as required during absences.
- Provide suggestions on continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must follow all personal and food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Must be able to stand the majority of shift.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Hand/eye dexterity with the capability of packing a minimum of 65 bags/ min off production lines within the first 90 days.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Must be team oriented.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Must possess basic math skills.

We are currently seeking a Packer to work from our manufacturing facility located in Kings Mountain, NC. The Packer is responsible to assemble boxes & displays and pack product into boxes and bags, stack product onto pallets in proper configuration, as well as, to inspect quality of product while maintaining a safe and clean work environment achieving quality and production goals. This position is scheduled to work Mon-Fri 7 AM – 3:30 PM.
