- Use a variety of hand tools and filling and packaging machinery.
- Perform a variety of hand packaging operations.
- Assemble components to product following shop packet.
- Assist in line start-up, and prep work as in proper application, and quantity verification.
- Ability to operate multiple production machines simultaneously.
- Is expected to utilize vacuums, mops and other equipment to clean the work area daily and other areas as assigned.
- Communicate equipment problems to proper personnel (i.e., leader, OTS or supervisor).
- Must follow standard work to complete assigned tasks, have understanding of daily management, complete action plans as assigned, and participate in assigned Kamishibai audits.
- Accurately complete all documentation to comply with ISO, FDA or other regulations in accordance with GMP/GDP requirements.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. Perform the four operations with like common and decimal fractions.
- Will receive training to manage the proper handling of chemicals and wastes, both hazardous and nonhazardous as defined by the FDA, OSHA, EPA and ISO.
- Hands on experience and a working knowledge of filling and packaging equipment.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Must be a dependable self-starter with a proven ability and desire to work with minimal supervision.
- Safety awareness.
- Practice GMP standards.
