- Acting as a first point of contact for patients, families, and professionals, responding to telephone and email enquiries with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Managing the end-to-end administration of patient referrals and appointments using electronic systems, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of clinics.
- Typing clinic letters, reports and other documentation using word processing software with speed and accuracy.
- Supporting the team with data entry, information reporting and appointment reminders.
- Helping coordinate stock levels and orders for continence products and enuresis alarms, liaising with suppliers and tracking deliveries.

Job summary
Are you a highly organised, flexible and motivated administrator looking to support children, young people and their families across Somerset?
We are looking for a dedicated Band 3 Administrator to join our Paediatric Continence Service, a countywide team providing specialist support to children aged 0-18 experiencing bladder and bowel difficulties. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient running of our service, and you will be based in Yeovil with occasional travel county wide.
You'll work closely with a friendly and passionate team of nurses, educators and service managers to provide comprehensive administrative and typing support. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for patients and their families, as well as working collaboratively with internal and external partners. In addition, you will offer flexible administrative support to the Paediatric Continence Service as requested by the Administration Manager, helping to maintain a responsive and effective service across both specialties.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will need to be adaptable and able to manage a busy workload with competing priorities
