      Position Purpose:

      As a Paid Search Specialist at The Home Depot, you will be responsible for understanding business objectives and overseeing the development and execution of best-in-class Paid Search strategies that surpass expectations. The Paid Search Specialist will work cross-functionally with Category Marketing, Vendor Partner Managers and other internal stakeholders to execute and optimize Paid Search strategies across Google, Bing and other biddable media platforms.


      Key Responsibilities:

      • 25% Monitors Site Activity and Search Program Performance and measures against historical data and KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
      • 25% Works with Search Account Managers to create reporting, provide analytical insights and produce team deliverables.
      • 25% Researches and analyzes trend/performance data to identify opportunities for program improvements and enhancements
      • 25% Executes daily operations and optimizations for multiple Search Team initiatives.


      Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

      • The position reports to Sr. Mngr, Paid Search
      • No Direct Reports


      Travel Requirements:

      • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


      Physical Requirements:

      • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


      Working Conditions:

      • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
      • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Hands-on Paid Search experience managing large budgets and multiple stakeholders
      • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Ads and Bing Ads paid management platforms
      • Mastery of 3rd party tracking and serving technology related to SEM (Search Ads 360 DoubleClick preferred)
      • Active Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, SA360 Certifications preferred
      • Possess a basic understanding of all digital media disciplines
      • Strong project and time management skills are a must
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Detail oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through
      • Good presentation and analytical skills
      • Good written and oral communication skills
      • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint (PPT) skills
      • Previous media agency experience preferred
      • Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with projects and planning


      Minimum Education:

      • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


      Minimum Years of Work Experience:

      • 2


      Competencies:

      • Intermediate/Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel required
      • Web Development, Scripting, SQL, a plus
      • A core understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
      • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with others
      • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
