Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake and documentation

Document provider-patient encounters in real-time as a medical scribe

Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, venipuncture, and in-office diagnostic screenings

Support providers during exams and procedures within your scope of practice

Complete medication prior authorizations and administer injections as directed
-
Manage EHR in-box tasks, including labs, refills, and consults
-
Monitor inventory and order medical supplies
-
Report clinical variances and patient concerns using online incident reporting
-
Support front office operations and help maintain a safe, clean environment

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Proficient computer skills and EHR experience
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Exceptional customer service and a positive, professional demeanor

MA, CNA, or EMT training
-
Medical office or clinical setting experience

Medical terminology training or equivalent clinical experience

Frequent standing, sitting, bending, lifting (

Exposure to indoor clinical settings and occasional winter weather conditions

Ability to interact with diverse patient populations across all age groups
Job Summary:
Gritman Medical Center’s Pain Clinic is seeking a dedicated MA Scribe to support healthcare providers by preparing exam rooms, assisting patients, and documenting clinical care accurately and efficiently. This is a vital role for those who are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about patient care in a specialty outpatient setting.As an MA Scribe, you will play a dual role—supporting the clinical team with hands-on patient care and assisting providers with real-time documentation and electronic health record (EHR) management. You’ll contribute to the safe, efficient, and compassionate delivery of care while maintaining a strong focus on clinic operations and patient experience.
