      Description

      Workhorse Group Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of all-electric, medium-duty work trucks for last-mile delivery. Workhorse trucks are built in the USA at the company's recently-renovated Workhorse Ranch, a world-class 410,000 sq. ft. manufacturing complex in Union City, Indiana.


      Job Responsibilities

      • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
      • Use and conduct proper care of PPE.
      • Help troubleshoot any issues with the painting systems.
      • Preparation and repair tasks including washing, sanding, masking vehicle for paint, installation of lights, sensors and trim, and commercial vehicle painting.
      • Mix, apply and handle paints, specialty coatings, chemicals, and additives.
      • Set up portable equipment, ladders, or scaffolding.
      • Work from several types of scaffolding, lifts, and ladders to reach surfaces of work area.
      • Accurate completion of required paperwork, understanding the importance of accuracy and detail.
      • Other job duties as assigned.

      Requirements

      Requirements

      • Automotive and/or commercial vehicle paint experience a plus
      • Proficient in using power and hand tools.
      • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Knowledge of safety and hazardous materials protocols.
      • Follow all safety and operating procedures and report any concerns with equipment.?
      • Demonstrate skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
      • Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
      • Ability to work both independently and on a team.
      • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
      • Regularly required to push up to 300 lbs.
      • Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours as required to meet business needs.
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
