  Job Title: Painter

  Job Description

  We are seeking a skilled painter to perform hanging, unloading, pre-staging, masking, and painting operations according to established standards. The process is easily repeatable and requires minimal troubleshooting or adjustments. You will follow pre-established guidelines, procedures, plans, and priorities set by the supervisor, with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities in paint processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment in good operating condition and training in the paint booth to lean powder coat painting.

  Responsibilities

  • Perform hanging, unloading, pre-staging, masking, and painting operations to established standards.
  • Follow pre-established guidelines, procedures, plans, and priorities as set by the supervisor.
  • Understand and apply continuous improvement opportunities in paint processes.
  • Maintain paint equipment in good operating order.
  • Train in the paint booth for lean powder coat painting.

  Essential Skills

  • 6+ months of painting experience.
  • Skills in painting, paint preparation, spray painting, industrial and powder coat painting.
  • Experience with commercial or residential painting, production, paint booth, and spray gun.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Capability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Good work history, even if not in manufacturing.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong memorization skills.

  Work Environment

  Work in a spacious and well-lit manufacturing facility with skylights and high ceilings. While the facility is not air-conditioned and can get hot in the summer, paint suits are air-conditioned, making this the most comfortable position during hot days. The environment is team-oriented, ensuring a supportive and collaborative workspace.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
