How will you make a difference?

As a member of the SRC Wabtec Team, you will be responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components and pallets for shipping of products

What do we want to know about you?

• High school degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic mechanics and machine testing procedures.
• Previous carpentry experience

What will your typical day look like?

• Follow detailed assembly instructions processes and procedures for components and pallets.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Build pallets to the specifications necessary to safely ship product to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
• Operate within Standard Operating Procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

What about the physical demands of the job?

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to wear PPE for 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
