      This position requires an Associates Degree or passing scores on a qualifying exam. In order to meet the Requirements Qualifications of “a passing score on a qualifying state or local academic assessment", the Beaverton School District will accept passing scores from either the ETS ParaPro Assessment or ACT WorkKeys Assessment.       Position Description:
      The Beaverton School District is accepting applications for Paraeducator II, at McKinley Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.

      Structured Routines Center (SRC)
      The Structured Routines Center (SRC) is a specialized program with a focus on behavior, communication, social skills, adaptive skills, and modified academic instruction as well as a modified classroom environment with embedded sensory supports. Students in the SRC benefit from a classroom with scheduled reinforcements and visuals. The program fosters growth through:
      • Structured individualized routines designed to meet each student’s needs - predictable schedules, consistent expectations, and behavior supports
      • Discrete trial training/pivotal response training
      • Visuals for work completion and reinforcement
      • Behavioral and social skills supports individualized to student needs
      • Carefully planned schedules, routines, and transitions
      • Supports and accommodations for individualized behavior and sensory needs
      • Focus on modified curriculum, functional life skills, behavior, social skills, and communication
      • Access to general education opportunities as described by individual inclusion plans

      Hours per day: 7
      Schedule: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

      Hourly Salary Range:
      $21.44369 to $27.45718
