Job Description
- Req#: 25-33496
- Use your paralegal skills: case management, organization, document review, communication, and detail orientation for regulatory applications requiring approval of the Life Bureau.
- Assist with Segregated Gift Annuity Fund licensing, including maintaining records of required applicant materials submitted and retention of documents.
- Assist Segregated Gift Annuity Fund attorneys and actuaries in their respective roles.
- Review draft audit reports and memorandums.
- Conduct legal and insurance research for the Life Bureau Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Deputy Superintendents, and Life Bureau senior staff as needed
- Assist with drafting materials (ex. Consent Orders, Stipulations) under supervision of Deputy Superintendent or senior staff.
- Review and summarize industry and regulatory reports, including National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) materials.
- Review and summarize proposed and final legislative materials.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent writing skills.
- The candidate must have a minimum.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Paralegal Certificate.
