- Req#: 240005HO
- Ensure patient and personal safety throughout care procedures.
- Conducts patient re-assessments as necessary.
- Establishes IV access and administers normal saline.
- Interprets ECG readings accurately.
- Administers medication.
- Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
- Current EMT-P certification.
- At least two (2) years' experience as a Paramedic.
- ACLS certification.
Job Summary:
The Paramedic provides technical assistance and performs selected acts, including the administration of treatments, under the supervision of the Hospital at Home Physician and/or Registered Nurse. The Paramedic is accountable for his/her own actions. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
