Job summary
Battersea PCN Ltd is looking for two motivated, enthusiastic paramedics to join our existing team of 2 paramedics. These are new roles working in Primary Care with our friendly, forward-thinking practice teams. Whilst previous experience in a GP setting is an advantage, we are happy to offer training and support to the right candidates.
Battersea is a fantastic place to work with its diverse population, proximity to central London and beautiful open spaces such as Battersea Park and Clapham Common.
The Paramedic Practitioner will work autonomously within the GP practices, using their enhanced clinical assessment and treatment skills to provide first-point-of-contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems such as minor illness or injury, and assessment of patients with long-term conditions. We provide a supportive clinical and educational environment, working collaboratively with GPs and other clinical colleagues.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will work closely with our GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Nurses, and administrative and reception teams. You will have good time-management skills and be able to prioritise tasks and work independently.

We enjoy excellent collaborative working relationships and we are excited about expanding our existing paramedic team to improve health care services for our patients and to support our clinical teams.
Our practices are high-achieving and innovative, and have a strong ethos of teaching and training, including the training of student paramedics. We offer mentoring and educational support from our PCN GPs, prescribing and clinical leads.
