Job Description

- Support students in grades PK-8th
- Provide direct support to Special Education students under the direction of the Director of Student Services, Coordinator of Student Services, Principal, Teacher, Education Specialist, and/or Full Inclusion Coach
- Implement behavioral and instructional methodologies to address the needs of students demonstrating learning or behavioral challenges
- Work with students with different abilities (mild to extensive needs) within the General education classroom
- Support the academic and behavioral needs of students
- Accommodate specific student needs through the implementation of specialized learning activities and linguistically appropriate goals and objectives
- Provide instructional support and interventions during and after school in a variety of settings, including the general education classrooms and other school settings as assigned
- AA degree and High School Diploma or GED
- or Pass the Paraprofessional exam
- Prior experience with Special Education is preferred
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with the field
- $27.00-$27.50 per hour
- Weekly Pay: Weekly direct deposit
