  Are you a rising senior (entering your senior or 5th year) who is looking to make a move into Publix Technology? Our Reporting & Analytics team is adding an analytics trainee part-time. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing analysis, recommendations, planning, performance measurement, technical support, and project support for the Digital & Omnichannel department.
  
  Responsibilities:
  • Providing analytical business services, both individually and through cross-functional teams
  • Supporting tactical projects, requests, and other analytical needs
  • Preparing and summarizing conclusions for various ad-hoc requests to support management in
  • answering business questions
  • Developing the databases, worksheets, and queries for capturing and reporting useful
  • information to enable fact-based decision making.
  • Utilizing varied data sources such as Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Adobe Analytics, etc. and applications such as Alteryx, Microsoft Access, Tableau and Excel
  • Communicating with various levels within Publix, such as I/S and Marketing
  • Performing various other tasks as needed
  

  Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a college degree at an accredited college/university, studying one of the following disciplines: Business, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications and MS Excel
  • Must be able to gather data from multiple sources and compile it in a user-friendly format, ensuring it meets customer needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle a high volume of work accurately and timely.

  Year End Bonus

  To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. The bonus for this position is 8 hours of pay when a new associate joins Publix prior to July 1. There is no bonus in the first year for associates hired after July 1. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to 8 hours’ pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
