- Maintain assigned store sections, manage merchandise, ensure proper pricing, and stock shelves and displays.
- Set up promotional displays and verify invoice accuracy.
- Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and process refunds.
- Verify customer eligibility for alcohol sales.
- Assist customers courteously with store and product information.
- Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
- Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
- Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
- Understand instructions, labels, and memos.
- Present information effectively in various settings.
- Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Basic PC/Outlook skills.
- Retail Management Certificate.
