Department Overview:
Ugly Apple Cafe focuses on buying seconds or overstock produce and making those fruits and vegetables into delicious items in the cafe and packaged snacks. We also try to buy as much local, high quality ingredients as possible including local eggs, milk, meats and coffee. We work with JBC and True Coffee Roasters to make sure we have some wonderful products in our cafe and available for catering.

This job is on-site. Food safety guidelines must be followed and we will train this.
Anticipated Hours Per Week:
10-20 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:30pm Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:
$13.00 hourly Number of Positions:
2 Qualifications:
Food service or customer service experience preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Communication skills with customers and teammates. Willingness to learn POS system, coffee systems and procedures and cleanliness standards. We will train on all of those fields.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Learning and preparing specialty coffee and tea based drinks, both hot and cold. Interacting with customers, taking orders via a Toast POS system, maintaining cleanliness standards and food safety standards.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for 2-4 hours, must be able to lift 10 pounds
