- Make every interaction a positive one through kind communication
- Assist passengers with a smile through arrival and check-in processes, including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors, and passengers needing wheelchair assistance
- A customer service agent is expected to be friendly, prompt, and courteous
- You will provide assistance for people who are checking-in, making reservations, rebooking flights, and checking in baggage.
- Resolve disservice situations like determining alternative flight options or rebooking a reservation when delays, cancellations or misconnections occur
- Make informed decisions in sometimes stressful situations
- You will be working outside year-round in all kinds of weather
- Plenty of physical activity, as you will be loading and unloading aircraft with as many as 100 bags per flight, some weighing as much as 70 lbs.

- This is a union position based on seniority. You will be assigned your initial schedule and will then have the opportunity to make a bid for your desired shift after your initial schedule period ends
- You may be required to work mandatory overtime based on operational need
- Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- As you gain seniority, you can trade days with colleagues, pick up extra hours and have more control over your schedule
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service) per local requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record
- Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
