      Contract Type: Permanent
      Hours of work: Flexible as long as 18.75 hours are worked per week any day between Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 6pm. Monday is a requirement day to work.
      Salary: £11,250.00

      Location: Office based on Oxford Road Manchester City Centre. Homeworking days available after 6 months working in role.

      Job Description:

      We’re currently recruiting for a Part Time Flexible Advisor within our Manchester City Centre contact centre.

      Capita plc is the UK’s leading provider of business process management and professional support services. Our office at Oxford Road in Manchester City Centre, provides contact centre support for a well-known UK financial

      institution.

      The contact centre you will work in is a warm and friendly environment with great social aspects. Our Flexible Advisors work in small teams receiving full training as well as ongoing support and development.

      Our typical opening hours are 8am – 6pm from Mondays to Fridays. There are no weekend hours.

      What you'll do

      The job primarily involves answering calls from policyholders, financial advisors and other professionals who require information about our client’s policies. Where needed, you could also be completing administration work.

      In a typical day you will be providing general information about a broad range of financial products, checking the status of claims and resolving complaints. Some of the callers may be unsure of the information they require, and your task will be to guide and advise them on a solution. This will involve navigating systems on the computer to find general information or communicating with other departments to send out further information.

      The basic nature of the role means that you will spend entire shifts on the phone dealing with a series of calls, which are fundamentally similar in purpose. Training is 6-8 weeks and full-time hours.

      What you’ll need

      · A very good understanding of customer service

      · At least a basic level of maths and English

      · Excellent communication skills.

      · Hard working, excellent time keeping and reliability.
