What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside U-Haul centers
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for rentals and inventory management
- Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment on the lot
- Educate customers on products and services offered
- Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
- Must comply with U-Haul's hiring policy on nicotine use
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service or related field
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
