Salary/Pay Rate: $12.00- $15.79 DOQPosition Summary
The Dishwasher must maintain a clean and orderly appearance of all food service areas. Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours and weekends.
Essential Job Functions• Empties trash in work areas as is necessary throughout the day.
• Takes all trash to compactor at the end of the night when closing.
• Washes pots and pans used throughout the day as they are placed by the sinks and stores them in an orderly fashion in their proper place when finished.
• Washes china, glassware and flatware throughout meal service times and stores them properly in an organized fashion.
• Keeps storage areas, including coolers, clean and organized.
• Keeps back dock clean of refuse. Hoses down periodically.
• Sweeps and mops work areas and coolers at the end of every night when closing.
• When handling any foodstuffs, is sure hands are clean and free of chemicals.
• Wears proper, clean uniforms at all times.
• Completes other job duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities• Ability to interact with the kitchen team with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Skill to assess cleanliness, identify needs, determine tools needed and accomplish the task with identified tools.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness levels for a full-service kitchen.
Minimum Education, Certification, and Experience RequirementsMust be 16 years of age or older. Food and Beverage experience is not required, will train the right person. Great opportunity for someone looking to get into the culinary industry.
