      Description and Responsibilities

      The Adult Learning Center (ALC) is a Day Habilitation Program that serves 45 adults between the ages of 23-85 with a diagnosis of intellectual disabilities and some physical challenges. Most participants require supportive structures and staff assistance to maximize their involvement in activities.

      Additionally, Drivers will:

      • Follow a systematic daily schedule to assist in providing the transportation needs of the agency.
      • Transport consumers to and from destinations in a safe and timely manner.
      • Write necessary documentation and reports.
      • Observe all responsibilities as stated in the Transportation Policy and Procedures, and Open Sky Policy and Procedures Manuals.
      • Attend and participate in all relevant agency training.
      • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

      Qualifications

      • High School Diploma or equivalent. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
      • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
      • Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
