What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach assigned classes under the supervision of the appropriate Academic Dean
- Provide student assistance outside of class time as needed
- Maintain updated documentation and grades in the current LMS
- Select textbooks and materials for assigned courses
- Attend required professional development activities both on and off campus
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in English and/or related subjects
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Skilled at organizing work and managing time effectively
- Proficient in the use of computers and basic computer applications
- Ability to lift and/or move 30 pounds or more
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Practical experience teaching in a Higher Education setting
- Experience in a diverse academic environment
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms
