      If you're looking for a career that offers growth opportunities and values its coworkers, then join our growing team of Houseperson! This position will support the Residence Inn in Lancaster, PA.

      The Houseperson will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand. Housepeople should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.

      This is a Part-Time (2 days per week) position, with hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Weekends are required, and days will vary, including weekdays and holidays

      Flexible availability is required.

      Starting Rate: $16.99-$17.30 depending upon experience.Weekends include a $2/hr. shift premium!

      Areas of responsibility for our Houseperson include:

      • Responding to guest requests and inquiries.
      • Cleaning assigned public and housekeeping areas, including lobby, public restrooms, fitness and meeting rooms.
      • Maintaining the cleanliness of the hallways and stairwells.
      • Assisting with trash removal, in general areas and for room attendants.
      • Conducting light maintenance; including, troubleshooting, changing light bulbs, filters and batteries, moving large objects.
      • Assisting the Chief Engineer with small maintenance tasks and renovation cleanup.
      • Performing duties of a housekeeper if required.
      • Stocking of linen and supply closets.
      • Assisting with changing over the meeting room.

      Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
      • Reading, math, and communication skills
      • The ability to work in both a team environment and independently
      • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
      • Availability to holidays and weekends is required
      • Adhere to brand and company standards
