What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process renewals for insurance policies
- Input submissions for the Lobster Boat Program MGA
- Send requests for surveys and process survey recommendation letters
- Handle Direct Notices of Cancellation and payment verifications
- Respond to billing inquiries from retail agents via email
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with policy endorsements and amendments
- Proficiency in insurance-specific software (e.g., AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of specialized insurance sectors (e.g., marine, property, casualty)
- Marine industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
