      2025-2026 Part-Time Temporary Worker - Math Interventionist @ Best Elementary

      Will work with small groups of students who need instructional intervention in math.

      1. Bachelors degree from a recognized, accredited college or university preferred
      2. Valid educator certification for position(s) of interest preferred
      3. Valid ESL certification preferred
      4. Ability to work in a collaborative environment
      5. Strong desire to make a difference and work with struggling learners
      6. Excellent human relations skills
      7. Knowledge of state curriculum preferred
      8. Experienced certified teacher preferred
      9. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
      10. Provide intervention in accordance with the philosophy of the reading curriculum of Alief ISD
      11. Will collaborate with teachers and specialists
      12. Will track student progress
      13. Will participate in on-going professional development
      14. Experience working with children who have math difficulties

      As needed for the current school year.

      Certified Teachers - $30 per hour

      Non-Certified/Degreed - $25 per hour

      Retiree rate may differ

      Hourly rates listed above are subject to change depending on the funding allocated for the specific job you may be hired for.

      The funding for this position is federally funded.

      Continuation of the position is contingent upon availability of future funds.
