      JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      The Bellisario College of Communications is looking for energetic and bright students to serve as tour guides for the new Bellisario Media Center. Tour Guides will meet and interact with prospective students and their families and provide tours of the media center and serve as ambassadors to the Bellisario College. Students must currently be seeking a degree within the Bellisario College and possess a great attitude and strong verbal communications skills. Applicants should be responsible, self-motivated, and excited to share their Penn State experience. Tour Guide schedules are flexible. Tour Guides will provide group tours as part of recruitment events and one-on-one tours as scheduled. No experience necessary, training will be provided.

      This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check; PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form; FBI Criminal Background Check.

      Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
