Providing routine nursing care in line with best practice (e.g. wound care, health checks)

- Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Relevant training and competency in chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Up-to-date immunisation and vaccination training
- Cervical cytology training (or willingness to undertake)
- Training in wound care and infection control procedures
- Independent or Supplementary Nurse Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Diploma or additional qualifications in Diabetes or Respiratory Care
- Cervical cytology (if not already essential in your version)
- Training in spirometry, ear irrigation, and/or sexual health
- Mentor/teaching qualification or experience supporting student nurses
- Experience working within a large or multi-site GP practice
- Previous experience with nurse-led triage or minor illness management
- Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Experience in care planning for patients with complex needs
- Qualifications & Training:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
