      COPC is the largest independent physician-owned primary care group in the nation. We are seeking an experienced part-time Primary Care Physician to join our COPC Care Forward Center located at 2600 Airport Drive, Peace Hall, Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43219. It is on the campus of Ohio Dominican University.

      This Physician opportunity is available 2 days a week (Monday and Friday) treating patients at the clinic while teaching PA students who are observing you.

      Responsibilities:

      1. This Physician role primarily focuses on providing general health maintenance for patients, preventative care, and treatment for common illnesses, especially in a non-emergency situation. The expectation is approximately 13 patients a day.
      2. Routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests, provide prescription medication, and personalized guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
      3. Diagnose and treat various health issues, including chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension, as well as minor ailments like the common cold and flu.
      4. When patients present conditions that require specific expertise, they are referred to appropriate specialists for further examinations and treatments.
      5. While treating patients, you will be teaching students who will be observing and learning. They are PA students enrolled in the Ohio Dominican University Physician Assistant program.

      Qualifications:

      Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO).

      Completed a three-year Family or Internal Medicine Residency.

      Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

      Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.

      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

      EPIC experience is helpful. Training is available.
