Printpack Bloomington is looking for part-time production assistants with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training is available for the right applicant.
The right applicant is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. Good attendance is a must.
Printpack offers a clean, safe, climate-controlled work environment.
Schedule: Schedules available for morning, afternoon, evening, and night shift hours for a total of 16-28 hours per week. Weekday and weekend options available.
Pay: Pay for this position is $17.60 an hour with an additional $2.50 premium for hours worked between 7PM and 7AM.
*High school diploma or GED is not required for this position as long as applicant is willing to pursue a GED while working. Assistance for obtaining a GED is available.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for promoting safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority.
Assist operators with set-up and operation of equipment
Support continuous improvement through team participation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Stable work history
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems
Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squat
Must be able to grasp, push, pull and have fine motor skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
