What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
- Replenish supplies by down stocking merchandise in empty areas
- Accurately process orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of merchandise
- Cross-train in other departments to enhance customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months experience using a computer for information management
- Minimum of 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Capable of performing duties that may require prolonged standing and lifting
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience
- Bilingual skills
- Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials)
