- Coordinate cross-functional NPI/NSI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Develop and manage project plans using MS Project and PMI methodology
- Track progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to keep projects on schedule
- Facilitate meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
- Use Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps for reporting, tracking, and workflow automation
- Support strategic and tactical planning across multiple initiatives
- Maintain project documentation and ensure process compliance
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma principles
- Proven track record coordinating complex programs using PMI methodology
- Skilled in developing and maintaining detailed project plans with MS Project
- Adept at managing scope, timelines, and deliverables for NPI/NSI initiatives
- Drives alignment with business goals through structured project governance
- Demonstrated ability to build tactical execution plans aligned with strategic goals
- Leads resource planning and milestone forecasting across cross-functional teams
- Supports long-term planning for New Product/System Introductions
- Balances short-term deliverables with broader business objectives
- Facilitates communication between engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Delivers clear project documentation, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Leads meetings and presentations to align stakeholders on project progress
- Recognized for strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
- Provide guidance on building interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualize project KPIs
- Utilizes Power Apps to automate workflows and streamline data collection
- Translates data into actionable insights for project decision-making
- Applies deep understanding of company products and technical processes to guide project direction
- Aligns project outcomes with business strategy through effective coordination of NPI/NSI efforts
- Collaborates with product and engineering teams to meet market and operational needs
- Leverages technical education to bridge business and technical priorities
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or training preferred
- Hands-on involvement with current NPI/NSI initiatives is highly valued

Job Summary:
The Part-Time Senior Project Coordinator will lead and support cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic alignment and operational efficiency. This role plays a key part in ensuring project success through effective planning, communication, and continuous improvement, while leveraging data-driven tools and methodologies to support business goals.

Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Mossville, IL office.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
