      Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a part-time summer nanny for our four year old daughter, ideally two days a week (~9:30am-3:30pm). We can be very flexible on days of the week and times. She has the summer off from "school" and we hope to find someone with experience and/or interest to keep her on track with her early childhood learning (for example, writing letters, practicing numbers, structured activities, reading) but also up for occasional outings to the splash pad, zoo, children's museam, library, etc.

We live in southwest Madison (near the Fitchburg Target), not on a busline, so you will need your own vehicle. We can provide you with a carseat.

We're pretty laid back and flexible, and we do have a small dog at home (a yorkie who loves attention), so would have to be comfortable with a dog too.

An ideal candidate would also be up for occasionally babysitting both the four year old and her two year old brother once or twice a month for a few hours. An ideal candidate will have experience babysitting (especially toddlers), be comfortable playing with (and supervising) kids inside and outside, making basic snacks/meals (think easy lunches - grilled cheese, peanut butter & jelly, mac & cheese, etc.), tidying up after the kids, and being a good/open communicator.

      Qualifications:

Experience with toddlers and multiple children

Reliable vehicle and good driving record/insurance

      Application Instructions:

If you are interested, please email Kasey Keeler (the mom) at: keeler.kasey@gmail.com to express your interest, share a little about yourself, including your experience, and your summertime availability. From there, we can set up a zoom and a meet and greet at our house.
