      HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR FAIRFIELD OFFICE

      Job Purpose:

      Our Parts and Services Specialist will be responsible for providing regional support to customers, sales, and service personnel for Veritiv's Packaging Equipment Services segment with the scheduling and processing of service work and procurement and order processing of parts, which can be critical to the manufacturing operations of our customers.

      Job Responsibilities:

      ● Source, purchase, and enter part orders.
      ● Maintain parts items and pricing in database to ensure accurate quotes.
      ● Manage phone and email responses for regional customers and technicians.
      ● Provide one touch service when answering calls for equipment repair and inquiries for parts, including identification of part numbers and availability.
      ● Verify customer details and equipment information needed to create accurate SV or FQ.
      ● Understand Tech-facing processes to provide timely and accurate back orders and van stock.
      ● Advise on warranty claims processes for core vendors; assign for processing as needed.
      ● Work in partnership with 3rd party service providers to assist Veritiv’s customers as needed.
      ● Process planned maintenance agreements.
      ● Process customer billings in a timely fashion upon completion of parts orders or service work performed.
      ● Monitor regional team productivity metrics and other performance reports to ensure 24hr response time and timely order management to meet customer expectations.

      Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

      ● Knowledge of packaging service industry is strongly preferred.
      ● Will provide oversight for regional work distribution and order management with Parts and Service Specialist level 1 team members.

      Work Experience:

      ● 5-10 years of related job experience.

      ● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

      ● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

      ● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

      ● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

      Education:

      ● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
