NAPA Auto Parts is seeking self-motivated and energetic Parts Counter Salesperson (full time and part time positions available). Candidates must be knowledgeable of vehicle systems and components (or willingness to learn) and a strong desire to deliver exceptional NAPA Know How service to both our wholesale and retail customers.

Job Description

The primary functions of this position are to provide prompt, courteous, and effective service; effectively understand and communicate NAPA product information, performance standards, warranties, sales programs, and company policies; the ability to operate and use the TAMS point-of-sale invoicing, cash register, and telephone system; the ability to secure parts for customers and inform of companion part requirements; handle daily paperwork and forms, including purchase orders, receipts, and invoices; efficiently and accurately look up the parts in the extensive NAPA parts catalogs or the TAMS computer catalog; prepare and pull orders for customer pickup or delivery; and deliver parts when necessary.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work on feet (stand and walk) for entire assigned work shift.

• Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds.

• Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and able to reach upper shelves with the use of stool or ladder when necessary.

Required Experience:

Related Field: 1 year (willing to train the right applicant)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the US.

• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• A flexible work schedule is required, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
