Job Description
- Req#: PARTS002927
- Fulfills all functions and duties of Parts Person I and II.
- Assists outside sales with quotes and inquiries.
- Maintain good paperwork flow from parts department.
- Assists shop with parts orders with WPI vendors and delivery companies.
- Monitor and report problems with inventory and delivery companies.
- Attend training classes to increase product knowledge.
- Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have 2 year (s) previous experience.
- Must High School Diploma or
- Some mechanical background or knowledge is helpful
- Must have working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards. (Only if job requires)
- Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows based environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days.
- Must be dependable and work independent.
- Must maintain good client relations.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
- Must have the ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment, (i.e. fax, printer copier, etc.)
- Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift.
- Must protect the company assets and interests.
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
- Office indoor work.
Scope of Work :
Respectfully perform all aspects of tasks associated with inside sales of products and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers.
