      University Auto Parts is your locally owned NAPA Auto Parts distributor in Broomfield, CO. We are a family owned business committed to the communities we serve.

      Founded in 2006 in Boulder, CO we have grown to 5 stores serving the communities of Boulder, Broomfield, Wray, Yuma, and Sterling. We are aggressive, progressive and looking to add team members that want to join a fast paced company that is constantly looking to grow and expand. That means plenty of opportunity for advancement. Oh and we're pretty big into cars. We race. We build hot rods and 4x4's. Translated: we're in this business cause we love it!

      Job Description

      Our Parts Professional position is the life line to our business. If you have experience in the wholesale automotive industry and enjoy a fast paced environment assisting customers with their automotive needs then this is the position for you.

      Job Duties:

      • Find the correct parts application in either the published NAPA catalogs or the TAMS computer catalog

      • Demonstrate understanding of products and their application

      • Determine customer’s needs

      • Describe product features and their benefits to the customer

      • Obtain parts not on hand by ordering parts in an efficient manner

      • Perform excellent customer service

      Additionally, you will:

      • Effectively communicate NAPA/UAP Promotions, product knowledge, features, warranties and benefits

      • Adhere to all company policies and safety rules

      • Participate in training to further advance part knowledge

      • Perform all other duties assigned by management

      Qualifications

      • A positive, friendly attitude and exceptional customer service skills

      • Ability to multi task

      • Maintain good attendance and arrive to work for each shift in a timely manner.

      • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills in a professional manner

      • Capable of operating TAMS point-of sale system and cataloging

      • Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 45 pounds

      • Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.

      • Ability to work Saturdays and nights

      • Must have 2+ years of wholesale automotive experience
