      We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Parts Sales Engineer to join our Spare Parts Business on a permanent basis in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

      As a member of the 2-stroke Parts Identification Team, you will be a key point of contact throughout our global Parts Coordination / Sales Network during the quotation phases.
      You will be responsible for searching for information on drawings and/or in engine archives and entering results in the quote/code resolution (SAP).

      What will you be doing?

      As Parts Sales Engineer / Technical Identification you will:


      • Identify 2 Stroke Engine Parts and add supporting documentation
      • Archiving of findings in code resolution
      • Advise network companies on technical investigations and sales projects
      • Enhance our spare parts business by providing first-class technical support to our internal customers e.g. material planning, purchasing and pricing.
      • Review technical documentation and make changes/add info where needed (Bulletins, Design Messages, Manuals etc.)
      • Develop processes to obtain, store and utilise data, supporting increased coverage and/or sales opportunities

      The below will enable you to shine in this role:

      • Technical education, eg. Engineer, Technical Writer, Spare Parts Expert,and/or Technical Business Administration (Technischer Kaufmann/Technische Kauffrau)
      • High attention to detail with a methodical & practical approach to solving problems

      • Self-motivated and reliable, taking responsibility of your actions and wanting to deliver quality
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability in building strong internal customer relationships that enhance customer experience
      • Flexible approach to work, and quick to learn new things
      • Keen to understand processes, revaluating and adopting new methods, where plausible
      • Clear communicator, both in English and German.


      The below are considered an advantage:


      • Experience with 2 or 4-stroke engine operation and/or maintenance.
      • Maritime background

      • Parts Supply Chain understanding

      • SAP experience
      • Database experience (Access or a like)
      • Analytical skills, PowerBI
