- Maintains inventory by ordering parts as needed; maintains records of parts requisitions in fleet maintenance management software; performs end of year stock inventory.
- Researches and selects vendors and other supply sources.
- Maintains work orders and records, and logs services performed and general vehicle information in fleet maintenance management software.
- Prepares a monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) schedule and distributes to various departments; ensures parts are available for service.
- Coordinates and schedules recalls with dealers and informs affected department.
- Coordinates and schedules warranty work in accordance with operational needs.
- Utilizes proper safety precautions in all work performed; recognizes, avoids, and reports unsafe acts, conditions, accidents and injuries.
- Picks up and delivers parts and vehicles locally and out of town.
- Utilizes fleet maintenance management software to maintain data.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License; specific technical training, certifications or license endorsements may be required for some job assignments.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent, AND three (3) years procurement experience; fleet operations experience preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
