- Responsible for providing customer service and investigating customer service issues; assists passengers with transition from curbside to the ticket counter(s); tracks and organizes all luggage carts, and assists with luggage, mobility, and wayfinding.
- Responsible for assisting Administration with event set-ups, tours or other special events.
- Required to make routine terminal inspections of the restrooms, Military Hospitality Suite, and evaluate overall terminal condition. Reports all issues that need to be addressed to proper Airport Directors.
- Provides Airport patrons with positive feedback and overall exemplary customer experience.
- Assist elderly and disabled passengers with various needs.
- Assist passengers in securing ground transportation.
- Provide patrons with information about the Airport and its tenants, as well as wayfinding.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance and badge
- Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving history. If State license is other than Georgia or South Carolina, applicant must obtain a license in Georgia or South Carolina within 30 days of employment
The Airport Passenger Assistance Liaison (PAL) reports to the Airport Customer Service Supervisor and represents the Augusta Regional Airport as a customer service professional responsible for assisting passengers and providing overall customer care.
POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE :
Education: High School diploma or GED. (Please note: Upon job offer, you will be required to provide proof of education. Be sure to have the appropriate documents readily available.)
Experience: Three (3) years of customer service experience

This position requires staff call up in an emergency situation.
Performance Aptitudes:
Physical Abilities: Tasks require the ability to exert light to medium physical effort which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects such as luggage, luggage carts, etc., and materials of light to medium weight (up to 50 pounds.) Some tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, depth, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate with passengers, co-workers, etc.
Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
