      The Role of Commis de Partie Pastry Intern
      Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be working alongside with the pastry team for the preparation of restaurant desserts ensuring consistent quality is delivered, following recipe cards as well as production, portion and presentation standards. You will assist the Chef de Partie Pastry in preparing desserts and accurately measure and prepare recipe ingredients. You will help in completing the mise en place and the setup of working stations, always maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment as per HACCP. You will help in dating food containers, ensuring all perishables are kept at proper temperatures, checking pars, determining necessary preparation and ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of culinary excellence consistently.

      Our Ideal Commis de Partie Pastry Intern will have
      A special passion for delivering the highest of culinary standards consistently and ensuring that our food offering is at the centre of our guest experience. Ideally you will have a degree from a culinary school.

      This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina. You must be open to work on a flexible schedule. Ideally you will hold a qualification from a culinary school.
