- Preparation and prosecution of US patents.
- Strategic portfolio counseling.
- Patent opinions (validity, infringement, right to use, patentability).
- Possible PTAB, licensing, and trademark work.
- Electrical engineering (industrial and consumer electronics hardware, analog and/or digital circuits, RF, semiconductors).
- Computer and telecommunications systems (networking and protocols, WiFi).
- Software engineering (network security, enterprise applications, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source).
- Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Patent Bar (and any State Bar for an associate) are required.
- An M.S. or higher would be valued, as well as any prior applicable engineering product development experience.
- Need at least 3-4 years of solid US patent preparation and prosecution experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or software arts.

An existing book is not required, but if you have portables, that would certainly be valued. This firm supports new business development and provides objective compensation for client origination.
