What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle copyright registration of source code
- Review, cross-check, prepare, and audit patent information disclosure statements
- Draft responses to office actions, counsel inventors, attend patent committee meetings, and review invention disclosures
- Provide support and review documentation for outside counsel
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and other interns on projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong organization, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to create high-quality written documents efficiently
- Timeliness, autonomy, dependability, and personal accountability
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
- Currently enrolled in an accredited full or part-time law school with an expected graduation date on or after December 2024

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Patent Agent registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
- Prior experience in a law firm or in-house law department
- Prior experience as an engineer or software developer
