- Patent prosecution support
- Assist in preparing, filing, and managing patent applications
- Conduct research to gather relevant information for patent prosecution
- Organize and maintain patent files, forms, and documents
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the patent docketing system
- Coordinate patent portfolio reviews and status updates
- Review and manage legal documents, including patent applications, responses, and correspondence
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of patent prosecution activities
- Facilitate communication between patent attorneys, inventors, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with external counsel for patent-related matters
- Contribute to group projects and assist in balancing the group workload to ensure completion of projects within established time frames and quality standards
- Work in Microsoft O365 applications such as, MS Word, Acrobat Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in administrative work or Paralegal role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, Intellectual Property, and/or Paralegal Certificate
- Proficiency in spelling, grammar, proofreading and writing skills
- Familiarity with patent docketing systems and intellectual property databases
- Knowledge of patent prosecution processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a changing field of work, multi-task to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment and multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Your Role:
As a Patent Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our patent attorneys and assist with various tasks related to patent prosecution and intellectual property management. You will work effectively and collaboratively with internal patent group in multiple sites, internal clients, and outside agents.
