      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage telephone calls and patient inquiries via mail or fax, ensuring timely responses
      - Schedule patient appointments according to internal guidelines and physician protocols
      - Collect and accurately enter patient demographic information into the system
      - Verify patient insurance information and confirm participation with OrthoVirginia
      - Direct patient calls regarding medical inquiries to the appropriate resources

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent highly preferred; applicable work experience may substitute for education
      - 1-3 years of applicable work experience in a call center, appointment scheduling, customer service, or medical office setting
      - Proven customer service experience and ability to handle inbound and outbound calls
      - Dependable with excellent listening and communication skills
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 2-4 years of applicable work experience in a healthcare setting
      - Knowledge of physician, clinical, and business processes within the healthcare industry
      - Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and collaboration
      - Experience in a medical office or similar environment
