What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Educate healthcare providers on access-related programs and processes to facilitate patient access to therapies
- Resolve access and reimbursement issues through effective problem-solving and education
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and their support staff
- Conduct in-services with healthcare providers on coverage pathways and patient support services
- Monitor and support patient referrals and reauthorization requirements to ensure continuity of care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in life sciences preferred
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, market access, or specialty pharmacy
- Strong understanding of Medicare and healthcare industry environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 60%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degrees (RN, MSN, MBA) are a plus
- Experience working with provider offices or patient assistance programs
- Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
